Raziel poured his blood into a cup and those who drank from it became half angel, half human. Shadowhunters, also known as Nephilim. As did their children and their children's children. Beings of immense power. Strong enough to restore the balance, protect the world in a war against evil. A war that can never be won. They must always be fought.

The secrets of West Shores Academy run deep but the staff runs the school with precision and a stern outlook of what is best for the students which has earned the academy the slogan of "Home to Tomorrow's Brightest."

However the citizens here also play a vital role for the community atmosphere of West Shores Academy period as they also can have abilities as well.
