She’s lived through a lot in her time and she can be manipulative to get what she wants. She can be considered a good person mostly, however she has her bad moments. Especially with being a downworlder. She never feels safe which makes her trusting people very hard. Isabella was born to Santiago and Valentina Cavallero during the 13th century and born in Colombia. She was raised to look after her family and make sure she had all the womanly duties correct for a future husband. During this time she was in for an arranged marriage and to no other than Lord Emmanuel himself. She didn’t want to marry someone who she had never met but her life was never controlled by her, it was always controlled by the men in her family until the day she was given up for marriage, after that her husband would tell her what to do.[break][break]
Once she hit the age of thirteen, she was wedded to her husband Lord Emmanuel, which in turn made her a Lady, she lived like most would describe a princess however with the 13th century spin on it. She did have to help the maids with the house work, she even had to cook for her husband at least 2 meals a week then it was up to the kitchen staff.[break][break]
A couple of years into their long marriage her husband revealed himself to be a vampire; and thus turned his wife into a subjugates or as it is more commonly known darkling (when a human becomes a vampire blood-bag), until he decided that she was finally ready to become a full vampire many years later. She died at the age of 37 by getting all of her blood drained and was then buried where it is known today as Monserrate, Bogotá, her husband then helped unbury her as she become in transition and found a human to feed on.[break][break]
After a few years of being taught how to be a vampire; Izzy realised that she was in love with her husband and sire; Lord Emmanuel. Lord Emmanuel convinced Izzy to get them both to fake their death so that they can move on somewhere else, since they will not be aging it was time to be moving on, he told her that they would come back in a couple hundred years and start again.[break][break]
Having moved from country to country for a hundred years, they ended up joining a vampire clan on the outskirts of Colombia. She was still treated like a slave with the rest of the female vampires that were in the clan, until her husband decided that he would try to overthrow the reigning vampire and ended up dying, she was distraught and didn’t know what to do with the love of her life. The reigning vampire advised Isabella to leave the clan or face the price of her ex-husband’s action as well. She left willingly, but with anger inside of her.[break][break]
10 years after becoming widowed, Izzy became manipulative and used her looks to seduce men and gain information. She planned on getting revenge for her husband. It wasn’t long until she made it back in front of the clan on the outskirts of Colombia. Izzy defeated their clan leader and took over their clan; becoming the first clan leader that the outskirts of Monserrate had, eventually even becoming the clan leader of Monserrate combining both clans into one.[break][break]
She ruled over the clan for centuries, growing with society and even adapting her clan towards society, doing whatever she pleased and hurting anyone that threatened her family; she never forgot her husband; - her first love even if he didn’t treat her the best, she become the best version of herself with him and that’s something she would never forget.
During the last year of the 20th century, she declared her second in command the new leader of the Monserrate clan. She wanted to start the 21th century with no attachments and doing whatever she pleased and that’s exactly what she did, until a few years back.[break][break]
Isabella had found a new clan she was interested in – The New York Clan, they had a hotel all for themselves and she found their leader amazing. She soon joined, and hoped to work her way up in the clan. As well as opening the Taki’s Diner a place for downworlders to eat and enjoy themselves.
